Sum Dog is fantastic game based site for maths practice. The children are asked quick fire questions in a very attractive game format, it also gives the opportunity to compete against others.
Used more in Key Stage 2, teachers will set up challenges or competitions for the children to compete in. There are also North Yorkshire and National competitions throughout the year.
Teachers have the ability to control what maths skills are targeted, this is very beneficial to tie in with what is being taught in the class through the year.
Your children should know their login details, or they can ask their teacher.
